1. What is TAB?

The best way to describe tab if you are not familiar with it is a simplified version of sheet music.  The lines represent the strings of the guitar and the numbers represent the section where the note is to be played on that string.  Click here to view a how to video on Tab and Color Tab.

2. Numbers & Values

My method introduces one aspect of sheet music that up until now has not been included in tab.  The ability to know how long to play the note.  With sheet music you have what is called a time signature.  My method assigns a color for the time value.

3. Drag & Drop

I designed this app with ease of use in mind.  First compose your music on your instrument or select a piece of music you want to learn.  Then using the color coded note values, compose the tab for your music right within the app.

4. Compose & Share

After you compose your music in Color Tab, you can take a screen shot of your piece and save it to your image file, send the image to another musician, or even post it on the web.
